NODS apologises over Barbudans statement

NODS Director Philmore Mullin

The National Office of Disaster Services (NODS) today apologised for statements made yesterday about Barbudans residing in the Barrymore Hotel.

NODS did not give specific reasons for its apology but it also retracted the statement in which it accused Barbudans of living illegally at the old hotel for years.

It issued the statement as it announced plans to clean-up the property to house those Barbudans affected by Hurricane Irma.
