The government is taking steps to make it easier for people to enter into Antigua and Barbuda as COVID-19 hospitalisations and infection rates continue to decline.

In Wednesday’s Cabinet meeting, the decision was made to further reduce the restrictions implemented at the height of the pandemic.

“All persons entering Antigua and Barbuda commencing next Wednesday, April 13, 2022, subject to any evidence regarding any new variant, shall be allowed to enter without vaccination,” the government announced.

However, persons who are unvaccinated will be required to submit a PCR test no more than four days old before boarding their flight to Antigua and Barbuda.

This requirement, which was already in place for nationals and residents of Antigua and Barbuda, will now extend to all visitors and in-transit passengers.
