No New Covid-19 Cases In The Last Two Days

Officials are reporting that there were no new cases of Covid-19 reported within the past 48 hours.

Information Minister Melford Nicholas says this is no indication that the virus has abated and as such he says there will not be a relaxation of the COVID-19 protocol at this time.

There are four Covid-19 patients are in the MSJMC Intensive Care Union (ICU), two are on ventilators, the Cabinet was informed.

Five of the newly-tested patients are yet to receive test results.

The PAHO advises to remain vigilant and not to relax the campaign to persuade citizens and residents to follow the social-distancing rules, and to maintain the vigorous hand-washing protocol. The government will receive 60,000 additional masks on the weekend, along with other personal protective equipment. Although five frontline workers contracted the disease, Antigua and Barbuda is in a position to provide for all healthcare workers.

  1. That’s good news I pray it stays that way.

So play gulf, back out on the construction site, but church much remain shut.

The pastor’s isn’t capable of socially distancing his congregation.

At the beginning of this crisis we called a national day of prayer.

Hurricane season coming up, let’s see if we call on God again.

    $$$$$$$ over everything

  2. Hogwash, if you dont double blind random sample how can you continue to spout those nonsense figures? So while you continue to pretend tests are ALL negative, you continue to feather your incompetence cause timing is everything when testing, human error will happen and most importantly many here in wadadli have, have had, will have covid and many of this many (99.999999111%) will do just fine inspite of all your meandering!!!!

  3. If there are no new cases in 14 days and more ppl have recovered, then I’ll feel better. Till then, tap home

  4. Have all of the persons who were quarantined down at Hawksbill tested? We went from 73 to 80 tests in a week and still 5 are yet to receive the results of their tests. Why would they announce that there are no new cases? Isn’t this a premature announcement?

By their fruits my brother: Look at all the UPP insiders joining the PM movement. Look at how the opposition is a whisper and keep chasing the PM.

The PM is tactical and astute. You must give him credit for how he is dismantling UPP and making them irrelevant.
