No new cases of COVID-19, 48 hospitalised

(Dashboard Update for March 3, 2021)

 

 

The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Mount St. John’s Medical Centre (MSJMC) has revealed no new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Monday 1st March 2021 at 6pm.

 

 

Subsequent to the publication of the dashboard for Saturday 27th February 2021 with the cut off time of 6pm, one hundred (100) additional samples were processed at MSJMC increasing the pending results from zero (0) to one hundred (100) in total.

 

 

All of the one hundred (100) samples processed by MSJMC yielded negative results and are reflected in the “total samples taken” and “total persons tested” columns of the dashboard.

 

 

Meanwhile, two (2) recoveries have been recorded bringing the total to three hundred and nine (309).

 

 

Five (5) Covid-19 related deaths of non-imported cases have been recorded bringing that total to seventeen (17).

 

 

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda remains at seven hundred and sixty-nine (769); which is inclusive of four hundred and forty-one (441) active cases and nineteen (19) deaths in total.

 

One hundred and twelve (112) samples are pending.

 

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.
