NO new cases of COVID-19

.(Dashboard Update for April 6, 2021)

The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Mount St. John Medical Centre (MSJMC) has revealed *no new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases* in Antigua and Barbuda as of  Sunday 4th April 2021 at 6pm.
This was as a result of eighteen (18) samples processed by MSJMC.
Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda remains at one thousand one hundred and seventy-three (1173); which is inclusive of two hundred and fifty-nine (259) active cases.
Meanwhile, the total number of individuals vaccinated remains at twenty seven thousand and thirty-two (27,032).
The dashboard has been updated.

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda remains at one thousand one hundred and seventy-three (1173); which is inclusive of two hundred and fifty-nine (259) active cases.

Meanwhile, the total number of individuals vaccinated remains at twenty seven thousand and thirty-two (27,032).

  3. We see many countries still struggling with second….third waves of this virus pandemic.

    As the world turns: Let us wait for the results of the investigations into possible LINK between AstraZeneca vaccine and Rare blood thrombosis.

    From the very start, this vaccine has come under some serious scrutiny. It is quite interesting that it is the main vaccine made available to the majority of third world nations; through the WHO COVAX facility.

    Already we are seeing many countries suspending its use altogether or refusing to administer it to persons under 65 or 50 years old.

    The United kingdom has already administered huge doses of it and going full speed ahead. Well, the AstraZeneca is a product of the UK: AstraZeneca and Oxford university, so no way they are going to say that their product is not efficient as should be.

    I think a major problem with the vaccines is that no one really knows the long term effect of the jabs. Will it turn out like having to get a jab every year just like the flu shot ?
    Still many questions to be answered. As life has shown to be for a human race that has wildly corrupted its way: MORE QUESTIONS and NOT ENOUGH ANSWERS.

    So we continue to grope in the darkness; live the same lifestyles and expect good results.

    Know you this : THAT COVID-19 IS JUST A TEST RUN. THE MORE WILDER, TERRIBLE STUFF ARE YET TO COME. This is just a forerunner.

    Not all doom and gloom though: The Almighty will soon step in when mankind has reached the end of the road we have chosen to travel on. But NO WAY WILL HE FORCE US TO GO HIS WAY. We have to make that choice for ourselves. That is what is called LOVE.
