  1. Why doesn’t the dashboard show
pending results?. We hear most recent results, but the dashboard never seems to display pending prior to new results??

  2. Were there any new test results which all showed negative? If so, how many? Just saying that there are no new cases of Covid does not mean that new negative test results came out. It could be that no new tests were done and so the number of positive tests remains the same. More info needed, people.

  3. On “pending results” July 9,dashboard 0,ttl people tested 860. July 12 dashboard ttl people tested 866. To me this means that “pending results” on July 9 should have been 6.

  4. What I have observed lately is that Antiguans are becoming complaisant. There are more and more people seen without mask. Even in some work places the wearing of masks is not enforced by management of the establishment. Some supermarkets do not police if people wash their hands when entering and some don’t even have any sanitation for the customers. I guess this is all because of the fact that we are so fortunate not to have any community spread. This something the authority should nib in the bud. Because if something goes wrong we will be caught with our pants down. I think just like litter warden we should have health inspectors going around in groups of two and visit the various work places and supermarkets regularly and ticket them with perhaps a first warning and if repeat offender a fine should be issued. When I see people without masks I think of the risk they are for the rest of the society. And especially when you visit the market and the vendors refuse to put the mask on their face while serving customers. Sometimes Antigua is like a lawless country. Everyone does as they feel like. Government pass a law to stop people from being on their phone while driving and you think people would adhere to that? No that law is a waste of time because the law enforcement officers are as guilty themselves and they are not enforcing it anyway.
So I’m asking the powers that be. Mr. PM, Mr. Joseph. Please ensure people do not get complaisant and put the country at risk. We are opening up the country and taking more risk, therefore we need more and not less compliance with the protocols. Start by looking at the Government Institutions and Bodies.
