No case submission in Bruce Greenaway murder case fails

Magistrate Ngaio Emmanuel-Edwards ruled against a no case submission put forward by attorney Lawrence Daniel.

Daniel is representing the four law enforcement personnel charged with the murder of Bruce Greenaway.

The magistrate ruled today that there was no basis for the no case submission to be upheld.

Police Constable Jason Modeste, Lance Corporal Shakiel Thomas and Privates Armal Warner and Aliyah Martin – appeared in the All Saints Magistrate’s court this morning.

Their case will be sent to the High Court.

  1. KRISTI while your questions are valid, I am sure you have heard the African proverb that it takes a village to raise a child. The blame for deviant behaviour, therefore, cannot be placed solely at the feet of the family but at that of the society as a whole. The process of socialization involves the family and all the other organizations that exist in the society.
