In a culmination of Youth Week on August 14, 2023, nine exceptional individuals were appointed as National Youth Ambassadors at Government House in Antigua and Barbuda.
The group, comprising six males and three females, was recognized for their leadership potential.
Dr. Jrucilla Samuel, Director of Youth Affairs, urged the ambassadors to be catalysts of change, bridging the gap between generations and advocating for youth rights.
Governor General Sir Rodney Williams lauded their empowerment and shared the vision for a transformed nation.
The week also witnessed various activities, including a church service, mural painting, and upcoming literacy and philanthropic events, showcasing youth engagement.(Observer)
