Information Minister Melford Nicholas says an electronic passport system will be created as a proof of vaccination, to allow residents to travel abroad.
“We are going to capture that information and create an electronic passport for persons who are ultimately going to have to travel and would need to be able to present and represent that they have been vaccinated,” Nicholas said during this morning’s post Cabinet press conference.
“Apart from them having their own local certificate in print in their hands. The electronic passport portal will be available for other ports of entry to be able to examine and validate that all people have effectively been vaccinated”.
