After enduring losses of over 10 million, residents can look forward to a new and improved XPZ Supermarket within a year.
The management of the supermarket, which was tragically burned down by Chinese national Tianzhao Alex Feng, is now seeking construction workers for the upcoming project.
They are specifically looking for masons, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and laborers.
Feng, who had been working illegally at XPZ, was apprehended and charged with arson.
After serving his sentence, there are plans to repatriate him to China, a decision that his attorney has been contesting.
The construction of the new XPZ Supermarket is set to bring job opportunities and rejuvenate the community.

“Alex was working illegally”…who is to blame for this? The same people that illegal employed him are now seeking to employ persons? I understand if maybe they were doing him a favour by hiding his status but from the court case he was somewhat abused. Something doesn’t sound right?
No- he had a work permit when he was hired and by law the liability is on the individual worker to have his/her work permit renewed when it runs out.
