The New Testament Church of God has issued an apology for the violation of social distancing regulations.
The release states, “The New Testament Church of God apologizes to the Governor General, the Prime Minister, the Attorney General, the Commissioner of Police and the citizens and residents of Antigua and Barbuda for the unfortunate event that took place at the Bolans New Testament Church of God on Sunday March 29, 2020.”
It went on to acknowledge that members of the church should be held to the same standards as every other citizen to follow the laws and guidelines set by the country.
The release ended by affirming the church’s position to adhere to social distancing protocols in its effort to aid in the mitigation of the spread of COVID-19.

Oh please…no spare them….as they say man are called few are chosen.
Kudos to the organization for being humble enough to apologize. This does not remove the consequences, but “to err is human, to forgive is divine”. We live and we learn.
Nice try, but I am not impressed, and neither the rest of the Christian community. They broke the law, knowing they were doing so. That is not the order of a “New Testament” church. You lost your credibility. Time to get back to the altar, but not in the one at the building where you have your meetings. It will take a long time to earn the respect of the people of Antigua. Jesus weeps over such nonsense.
