  1. Has there been consultation with the Barbuda people and gotten compliance and agreement. If not the investors better beware!

  2. Isn’t it interesting how GOAB issues notes for political purposes hoping to influence the public.
This is the long awaited “Paradise Found” hotel project.
De Niro has at long last found a partner willing to invest in Antigua and Barbuda.
The developer operator is a well known hotelier of Irainian background operating in the UK as well as Southern Europe. (Details to follow)

    • AND THIS IS THE REASON I CANNOT STAND THEM FOR THEY PLAY ON THE EMOTIONS ON THE PEOPLE FAR TOO MANY TIMES! INSTEAD OF POLITICAL MATURITY THIS COUNTRY IS REGRESSING TO THE DAYS OF OUR FOREPARENTS WHO THROUGH NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN DID NOT HAVE AN EDUCATION AND WAS INFLUENCED BY THE SHIBY THINGS. WHO IS INTERESTED IN “NO DINERO” AND HIS HOODLUMS WHO WILL ONLY SEEK TO TELL BARBUDANS THEIR RIGHTS TO CLAIM IS CONDITIONAL AND THEIR ONLY USE IS TO BE CARRIERS AND CLEANERS. I HATE THIS PLACE WITH A PASSION UNDER “MR NO IDEA -GASTON TUN DA PLACE BROWNE” AND HIS EQUALLY CLUELESS GREEDY BAND OF THIE… *battery died*

  3. Hotel again….why can we attract other type of investments…where training and skills can be harness… is service or servitude is all our young people can offer…except for the few managerial positions that some may not even get…all we can do Waite tables and make beds/ clean bathrooms….
I now understand the plight of the Barbudans and resistance to that kind of development. How can we blame them! We need to change our mindset…and come to the realization that tourism is a very fragile industry.

  4. Can’t we plan our development for ourselves just as we did ACB and our small businesses. We don’t need foreign farmers.Educate and don’t blame the youths.

  5. Hotel to grow their own farming produce ,cutting out the locals and this is what they call next level. Give me a break , these actions should not be allowed.

  6. This administration can’t even collect garbages weekly . Three weeks now garbage hasn’t collected in my neighborhood. Talking about next level. We are in reverse.

  7. And so it continues on our shores. Hospitality equates to the continuation of servitude, subjugation and serfdom.

Prime Minister Browne has a myopic viewpoint on the work Antiguans and Barbudans are only capable of doing.

He’s had enough time to create a manufacturing base in making things, I.e, engineering, clothing, bottling, cabinet making, and recycling just to name a few.

The list is endless Prime Minister.

But no, Gaston Browne thinks that hospitality is the only way ahead for the indigenous populous.

DIDN’T HE LEARN WHEN COVID-19 LICK, AND HOW THE WORKERS IN HOSPITALITY SUFFERED NO END.

Praise the Lord, that I was thinking out of box from my youth 🙏🏽

  8. BARBUDA WOULD BECOME THE NEXT JUMBY BAY ON STEROIDS.DO YOU FOLKS REMEMBERED THOSE WORDS.I SAY,BARBUDA WOULD BECOME THE NEXT APARTHEID PLACE LIKE SOUTH AFRICA WAS.WHERE BY THE THE NATIONALS WOULD BE FENCED OUT.THOSE LIVING THERE WOULD NEED A PASS TO GO INTO CERTAIN AREAS.IF YOU WERE TO BE SEEN IN CERTAIN AREAS WITHOUT THAT PASS IT COULD RESULT IN YOU BEING ARRESTED.
