
The newly elected executive of the Antigua and Barbuda
Swimming Federation held its first meeting earlier this week, just days following its election on Saturday, 18 th March 2023. At Monday’s meeting the team developed its strategic plan on the way forward including finalizing plans for the 2023 CARIFTA Aquatic Championships to be held in Curacao, 6 th to 12 th April 2023.

Edith, you deserve this presidency. You kept swimming alive when no one was there. Many of these teenagers now owe it all to you. Started the learn to swim in a small pool at Amarillys Hotel. You need to be given a National Award. You are very dedicated to the development of swimming in Antigua. I hope they name the Aquatic Centre after you. Well deserved. I wish you a very blessed and prosperous presidency.
