New curfew hours from 8 pm to 5 am announced

A a decision was made at cabinet today that the curfew hours will run from 8 pm to 5 am as of Monday, March 15th. That curfew will run for one month.

ABS reported this was confirmed by the Government Chief of Staff Lionel ‘Max’ Hurst following today’s cabinet meeting.

It is also reported bars are to remain closed and restaurants will continue to be restricted to take outs only.

    The people who work at these closed establishments such as bars and restaurants are suffering.

    This government boasts about not sending home their public sector workers and i applaud you for that but what happen to the scores of hotel workers that contributed so much to your economy? Yet y’all love tourism so so much which is the main industry but the people who play a major part in it what is done for them?

    Now look at what the Carlisle Bay staff are going through, they’re the only hotel workers who have been sent home on 3 occasions since the pademic.

    Oh my god the Liat staff as well got a bad deal they saved Liat but care zero about the staff.

    Big cash donations towards the fight of covid-19 which is great but what about people in need?

    Remember American road needs fixing, Buckley’s road on to Swetes needs fixing, Fig tree drive to Old Road needs fixing, Tyrells road through Liberta and English Harbour needs fixing.
