(Dashboard Update for October 17, 2021)
The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre revealed six (6) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Saturday 16th October 2021 at 6pm.
One hundred and two (102) samples were processed at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.
Thirty-four (34) recovered cases were recorded increasing the total to three thousand one hundred and twenty-one (3,121).
Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is three thousand nine hundred and eighteen (3,918); which is inclusive of seven hundred and two (702) active cases. There are twenty-six (26) hospitalized cases; sixteen (16) mild, five (5) moderate and five (5) severe.
Meanwhile, Antigua and Barbuda has fully vaccinated forty six thousand two hundred and eighty-seven (46,287) individuals while eight thousand eight hundred and sixteen (8,816) have only received their first dose.
The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.

702 Active Cases,95 Deaths,too many. More deaths that many Caribbean Islands of similar populations. Where did we go wrong? What did we do right? Just hoping we as a Nation learnt somethings from this Pandemic for future similar situations. Like the Leaders going out there and talking with the People. Not be abrasive, condescending, nasty,and expects a positive solution.
Is testing also down because it too expensive for poor people pocket?
