    • I disagree. You can already use your national ID to travel.

My issue though is that a few years ago they asked you to bring in your ID and verified all this information. What happen to those records?

Most places in Antigua keep asking to bring all sought of ID to get service. Dont they store the information? Why do they even ask for some of the information that they seem not to make any use of. For example, they want your email but will never send you a reminder to renew your license.

Hopefully one good thing that might come out of COVID is for the companies to use that information more widely and allow you to do more things ONLINE rather than travel to the offices and waste time.

      • It will just be another way for the very prejudiced Antiguans to discriminate against other Caribbean folks

For some crazy reason Antiguans think their island is the best.

I’m not a Caribbean person but Antigua is one of the worst islands I’ve been to. The people are the most unfriendly, most racist against other black people, highest cost of living with some of the lowest wages.

Not to mention the current administration that implemented discriminatory pandemic protocols and is failing to protect citizens and residents during this pandemic.

Also, I think the notion of the crime rate being low in Antigua is another lie. There seems to be quite a bit of crime in Antigua.

And the food is also not so good compared to other Caribbean islands.

        • Well excuse me as a born and raised proud Antiguan who the hell are you to dip you ass in our affairs. Why the hell don’t you stay where the hell you come from. It is clear your comment is politically motivated and you don’t know jack shit about our politics. Stay in your lane b. You don’t like Antigua and our people then don’t come here we won’t miss you.

  1. I have a Driver’s License from Antigua and Barbuda. It stipulates the Country of Birth on it as Antigua and Barbuda. So you would need a valid Passport to renew your licenses. Reminder,a Passport that expired is not a valid Passport.
