National Housing refutes UPP Fabrication

The National Housing Development and Urban Renewal Co. Ltd has become aware of certain erroneous, misleading and fabricated statements made by one Mr. Cortwright Marshall at a UPP political meeting held on 31st March 2022 in the village of Sea View Farm.

Mr. Cortwright Marshall asserted that lands developed by the National Housing Development and Urban Renewal Co. Ltd in Cades Bay are to be sold at $9 per square foot.

For the record and the avoidance of any doubt, lands at Cades Bay, managed and developed by National Housing Development and Urban Renewal Company Ltd., are being sold to the residents of the constituency for $6 per square foot inclusive of infrastructure.

The offered rate is subsidized by the government in keeping with its policy to extend affordable land ownership to all Antigua and Barbudans.

  3. The amount of lies these UPP candidates put out daily is staggering. They keep you so busy that in the end you’ll get tired and just let the lies stay un-challenged. That is their program. Trying to wear you down with lies. But we have to stay focus and rebut each and every lie they put out there.

  4. All Antiguans should be able to participate in purchasing of lands anywhere. Stop this nonsense for resistance. This sounds like Barbudans and kubly and this old road people. Also Antigua lands should not be tagged to any party affiliation. We are in the election season and please do use the state assets for political gain . Marshall these are the issues you should be addressing and not miss leading facts about cost if this is the case.
