🌳 Enhancing our urban landscape! The Ministry of Housing, Lands, and Urban Renewal is delighted to announce the commencement of our beautification program along Friars Hill Road. National Housing (NH) is on a mission to green our surroundings, and with the valuable guidance of the Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA), we’re strategically planting palms. As part of the government’s commitment to a greener future, this initiative also considers APUA’s upcoming line shift in early 2024. Stay tuned for a more vibrant and sustainable community! 🌿 #GreenAntigua #UrbanRenewal #BeautificationProject”

  1. Please ensure trees and plants are local and a substantial amount are edible fruit trees, a wide variety.

It is tremendously marketable to have returning citizens and tourist pick and eat fruits in which they collected directly from plants and trees themself.

    Not just palm trees.

  2. Friars Hill Road is the next Jumby Bay in Antigua.Look and see who are the owners of the new Office Buildings on that road.

  3. Who is supplying the plants.
Was the project put out to tender.
Does apua have money to shift lines?
