The man accused of killing 29-year-old Carrisa Chandler was remanded to prison when he made his first appearance in the Magistrates court this morning.
Police charged Chandler’s 44-year-old boyfriend Tedson Knowles will murder and illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.
The alleged incident happened last Thursday in New Winthropes.
Investigators said Knowles took his victim to hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
Knowles, who may apply for bail in the high court, is due back in court for committal proceedings next month

I read in other news online that Knowles had gave a statement that someone broke into their home and shot his girlfriend. Did the bullet pulled from the young lady body matches the illegal gun found during the search? After examining the gun, did it shows that it was recently used, or did any gun shot residue found on Knowles finger/hand and clothes, tested, and matches the gun? Or did they squeezed his testicle to make him admit he had committed the murder act? Or did his conscience kick in? Inquiring mine wants to know how they came up with the murder charge?
