Hon. Anthony Smith Jr. Launches the “All Saints West Clean and Green Initiative”*

The constituents of All Saints West have big things to shout about.

In a significant move toward community revitalization and infrastructural development, All Saints West MP and the new Minister of Agriculture, Lands, Fisheries, and the Blue Economy, Hon. Anthony Smith Jr., has officially launched the All Saints West Clean and Green Initiative. This ambitious program aims to transform the constituency, enhancing both its physical infrastructure and overall community aesthetic.

In a move to change the entire construct of the community while continuing to deliver services to the citizenry, Hon. Anthony Smith rolled out the new program, suggesting that leaders must find new and innovative ways to clean the community and enhance the aesthetics of the constituency.

Smith has always been pioneering, forming synergies with the business community, friends, and families to get the work done. In the past, he has partnered with various entities to remove garbage, clear water drainages, remove bushes from the sides of the road, and, in some cases, reconstruct entire roads. MP Smith believes that All Saints West must be a model constituency in Antigua, sometimes using his personal resources to achieve results.

The All Saints West Clean and Green Initiative, however, brings new partnerships to the table.

For this new initiative, Hon. Smith collaborates with the Government of Antigua and Barbuda, receiving overwhelming support from his cabinet colleagues. Smith expressed profound gratitude for the unwavering support he has received from his fellow Ministers, stating, “Meaningful change and delivery must come to All Saints West.”

“Since becoming an independent Member of Parliament, my focus has been on delivering relief, development, and an overall better life for my people in All Saints West who elected me to lead,” he stated. “My journey into politics was fueled by my love for the people and an immense desire to serve my country, and I am committed to fulfilling that calling with the highest level of integrity.”

The Clean and Green Initiative, along with a dedicated Community and Infrastructural Development Program, is poised to be transformational for the constituency. Over the past two months, Hon. Smith has made considerable strides in securing the necessary resources and synergies to kickstart these activities. His efforts have yielded two backhoes, two graders, two rollers, and access to a quarry for materials, all aimed at constructing the infrastructural development that residents have long called for.

In addition to heavy equipment, the Minister is assembling a dedicated team of 40 men and women tasked with beautifying the constituency. Hon. Smith states that this task force will be permanently stationed in All Saints West to ensure consistency in the level of work and clean up efforts.

“All Saints West is one of the most beautiful constituencies in Antigua and Barbuda,” Hon. Smith proclaimed. “With its breathtaking views, we have the potential to enhance the economic value of individual properties in this area, making it a premier location in Antigua and Barbuda.”

As part of the initiative, community parks in Sea View Farm, Freemans Village, and Buckleys will receive new lighting to create safer and more inviting spaces for residents, both young and old. The Minister envisions these developments as vital components of a broader strategy to enhance the quality of life for all constituents. “In the coming months to a year, residents will witness a transformation,” he promised, while acknowledging that not all improvements can be achieved overnight.

Minister Smith emphasizes that the people of All Saints West have known him more for his actions than his words, so he must demonstrate his commitment to the people through tangible results.

With the launch of the All Saints West Clean and Green Initiative, Hon. Anthony Smith Jr. is not just focused on beautification; he is paving the way for a sustainable future that prioritizes the needs and aspirations of the community at large. The initiative represents a new chapter for the constituency of All Saints West.

Sir. Molwyn Joseph do Better than that! Hon. Anthony Smith just got in, now look at his Plans… visisionary Leadership. 👈🏾
    Me OUTSIDE! 🇦🇬

  2. “Launches clean and green initiative,” Mr. 👺Anthony Pinocchio please spare the people the bullshit. If you are now LAUNCHING a clean and green initiative in ASW, what did you initiate or embark upon while you were LYING to the People?
And none of this being the OPPOSITION crap, therefore I could not do anything, to include HAVING such things green and clean initiatives, in place prior to you jumping in bed with these ABLP flea infested DAWGS and crooks.

  3. So why are such initiatives being applied only to ASW constituency? Why not to the whole island, which looks like an abandoned forgotten derelict dump? How come GOVERNMENT RESOURCES can be made available for you to do these things in ASW but are not available to improve the rest of the country? Everyone knows the answer. The ABLP failures you are now associated with will find money to prop you up now in AWS because you all know you are heading for a defeat in the Court case you now face. Yes, you will soon be ordered to vacate the ASW seat in parliament and face a bye election. You think pouring money into ASW while none can be made available for other constituencies will bring you victory in the rerun made necessary by your betrayal of your constituents. News for you, Judas: At the upcoming Court mandated election the people of ASW will do to you what dogs do when they find themselves next to a lamp post!

  4. This guy said Anthony lied….they are so full of hate..! Bet you they related to Gisele the demon of hate.
Anthony Smith has been fixing roads cleaning drainages and bushes at the sides long b4 this. The man mental health does not have any value to you, Gisele and UPP…according to Jacqui Quinn he must suck-up what comes from Giselle put on his big-boy pants and move on.SMH. Jacqui should lend him her big-boy pants..!

  5. Seems like Anthony ‘Judas’ Smith and the ABLP are going to use All Saints West as a political football; with their ‘volleys’ missing the target, and their ‘goals’ being called offside by the constituents in ASW (Aieee mi ah tell unna, what a metaphor 😁).

MIND YOU, ALL THIS FOCUS ON ASW, SHOULD BENEFIT THEM IN THE LONG TERM.

Remember UPP are ‘Stronger Than Ever’ ✊🏾

  6. What did Anthony Smith lied about..How is he a judas..first of all leave God outta politics.. Anthony saw an opoortunity for better..which of you would see yourself being constantly in the same position.
Choosing to disassociate yourself from people who doesnt value your opinion and doesnt recognise growth js not a bad move.
Anthony saw himself being more effective as an independent candidate.
I am super proud of him
    So far only positivity
I look forward to this new inniative..
I have seen progress and there is more to come

Hey nothing in life is perfect and no matter what a person does he will never be good for everyone

I support Anthony Smith my representative for All Saints West

  7. @Elridge you guys are real spin Doctors, upp doesn’t have a case. Yall are wasting the courts time and fooling the people…

  8. Mr. Smith as much as we appreciate any improvements to the constituency, you have failed miserably to consult with most of the people.
    That’s kind of “dictatorish”
