Mount St. John’s Medical Centre gets 450 LED lights

British High Commissioner to Antigua and Barbuda, Lindsy Thompson through the Ministry with responsibility for Energy, donated 450 LED lights to the Mount St. John’s Medical Centre (MSJMC) on Monday.

The Ministry of Civil Aviation, Public Utilities and Transportation was represented by Dwight Laviscount who chaired the brief ceremony where Minister of Health, Wellness and the Environment, Sir Molwyn Joseph accepted the donation on behalf of the Government of Antigua and Barbuda.

Head of Marketing and Communications at MSJMC, Salma Crump accepted the donation on behalf of the Hospital.

  1. 450 LED BULBS? or is it Light fixtures with LED bulbs in them?
    450 LED bulbs, wholesale = £1,600 approx. (ec$6,000).
    Plenty fanfare for amount donated by a G7 country.
