Update: ANR received reports that the Lexus driver reported the matter to the police headquarters that same night.

A female motorist is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the driver of a white Lexus who allegedly fled the scene after colliding with her vehicle on Burma Road last Friday.

The crash happened on 14 November 2025 near the Landing Strip Bar and Restaurant. The woman said the white Lexus, carrying license plate A 64036, struck her vehicle and the male driver—who she believes was under the influence—refused to stop or exchange information.

According to the motorist, the man used threatening language before driving away.

Police have not yet released further details.

  1. Hopefully she stayed at the scene of the accident and called the police. Tracking the vehicle should not be a difficult process through Transport Board but finding the owner and or driver could prove to be a bit more problematic.
I hope the driver is found and the law takes its course. Heads up to the lady, you may have to file a separate law suit for civil damages.

  2. Well if that is the correct registration number plate…..If not then u might sall cause plenty white Lexy all round this island..The person could quickly get it repaired by his bredrine’s body works shop or park it off the road since the vehicle most likely not road legal…Hmmmmm…Maybe a good description of the driver could help but then again maybe it’s not the driver’s car

  3. As it is known who a license plate belongs to isn’t it the duty of the police to go looking for the person and not have this poor woman seeking help like this? I was under the impression that a hit and run was a criminal offence…am I wrong in my thinking??
