Mrs Mary Quinn, Mother Of Former Education Minister Dies

Prime Minister Gaston Browne today express condolences to the family of former Education Minister Dr Jacqui Quinn on the passing of her mother Mary Quinn.

In a letter, the prime minister said Mary Quinn was an iconic figure whose contribution to education and to the literature of Antigua and Barbuda has earned her place among the literati of the nation.

Browne said that as a teacher Mrs Quinn has inspired young people to achieve and thought them the importance of formal education.

In 2017, at age 85,  Mary Quinn became the oldest Antiguan and Barbudan to publish a book in her platinum years.
