The 4th United Nations Small Island Developing States (SIDS) Conference that will be held here in Antigua, in five months, continues to command the attention of the Cabinet.
More than 50 Heads of Government and Heads of State will participate in the Conference and will likely be judging Antigua and Barbuda on its management and efficiency of the Conference.
Many volunteers have stepped forward to help with the arrival and accommodation of more than 5,000 delegates who are likely to participate in this SIDS Conference.
The Cabinet members continue to contribute significantly to the planning and execution of events that will be essential towards a successful Conference.
It is anticipated that 2,500 rooms in several hotels will be occupied by delegates.
Another 2,500 may be housed in a cruise ship that will dock in the Harbour for the days of the conference.
Some hotels have already requested a deposit on rooms which they are offering to the delegates.

You not tired?
You are indeed a Old renegade🤔
Incredible
So 50 heads of small islands will each spend a small fortune bringing their political class friends on all all inclusive holiday to Antigua.
Just shows that corruption and complete lack of empathy with the population isn’t restricted to Antigua.
Hope the useless Town planners clean up the derelict city of St. John’s which looks like a section of Back-a-Wall shanty town Kingston with all then vendor shacks on our main streets. As fast as vendor space is moved out two more occupy. Stinking city of St. John’s and overgrown countryside – Antigua go shame itself – Stink & Dutty!
This will pave the way for a massive island wide clean up campaign , we will even see street dogs and cats being polished.
Why doesn’t this guy just fade into oblivion? People like Max Hurst, who continues to lie with impunity in the most arrogant way, must somehow think themselves incorruptible. How old is this guy? Isn’t it way past time for him to retire? How long must the public be subjected to this clown? Antigua! Land of corruption and no shame.
