Quarantine bracelet being used in Antigua

Cabinet Notes:

The Cabinet invited the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and the Emergency Medical Technician responsible for the follow-up of those who have had tracking bracelets placed on their arms.

More than 400 bracelets have been deployed.

Those entering Antigua and Barbuda who can demonstrate that they have received two jabs of the vaccine and also have a Covid-19 negative certificate will now be required to spend no more than 7 days in quarantine, down from 14 days.

A Covid-19 test will be administered on the 5th day of the quarantine, and a negative test result will cause a release upon receipt, two days later.

  1. How many more people will be allowed to leave the island with them on their wrist because of the slow deployment from the ministry to have them removed?

  2. Continued discrimination against all residents. Tourists can move as they like.

This is the govt you want to run the country? Is this what you voted for? Was the free driver’s license, turkey, ham, microwave, house worth it in the long run?

Think, really think before you accept the bribery from any politician. Sadly, our nation is in a sad state of affairs due to the wrong people being voted in. This is about putting the right people in the do the job properly.

This is not a matter of red blue or whatever colour party.
