Customs brokers Rowan Matthew and Foston George, accused of fraudulent activities against the Customs department, have been charged with new offenses.

The duo allegedly used duty-free concession codes to evade taxes and pocketed money from clients.

The latest charges include electronic forgery, cheating public revenue, and obtaining money by false pretenses, totaling almost $83,000 from incidents dating back to 2017.

Both men have previously faced multiple fraud cases, jointly charged with other individuals.

Their bail conditions remain, with each required to provide two new sureties.

They are scheduled to go before a High Court judge after September for other similar offenses.(OBSERVER)
