A monkey has been seen by hikers on the hiking trail through the old Bridgetown ruin.

The animal is believed to be a vervet female adult monkey, similar to those found on St Kitts & Nevis and Barbados.

    • Blinds your ALP monkey on the loose, spotted in the east. Just letting you know it’s not down Jolly Harbour.

  1. The question is, how did it get here and are there more that just this lone female? Also, if there are more, what impact will they have on the environment?

  2. Monkey stew is greatly loved by many of the cultures now among us. Kill it and stew it up. At the same times kill every snake you can find. Rats are next, not to mention the African Snails. Kill them all. Let us live in peace.

  3. Monkey always in Antigua I know for a fact I see them all the time use to work at wadadli nature park use to get call an ask if any or our monkey get way

  4. Kill them before they take over and destroy our farms, if they really exist. Some say that is just an internet picture from some other island, so that makes it a fake. It isn’t even taken in Antigua. It’s a hoax???????
