Trinidadian Man Still Missing in Antigua; Mother Thanks Public as Search Enters Ninth Day
St. John’s, Antigua — The search continues for 21-year-old Trinidadian national Thomas Vasquez, who has now been missing in Antigua for over a week.
Vasquez returned to the island on Monday, April 14, and was last seen on the morning of Tuesday, April 15, between 9:00 and 10:00 AM. He is described as 6 feet tall, dark brown in complexion, with black hair and a chipped front tooth. His attire at the time remains unknown.
His mother, Candy Jageshar, has remained active on social media, issuing daily appeals for assistance. In her latest statement, she expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support:
“Good morning everyone, thank u all for continuing to share my son’s information, we got a break… he made the Antigua News yesterday, April 23rd, 2025. Please continue to share… we want him back safely.
He is truly loved and missed by many, many, many, many who care and love him.”
Earlier in the week, she pleaded with the people of Antigua:
“Please ppl of Antigua, please if anyone knows where Thomas is, please ask him to call his mom. This is a plea for help, please help me find my son.”
Community members, including activist Bonita Williams, have rallied around the family, urging anyone with information to come forward. Williams described Thomas as “a very sweet and calm young man” who worked at a bar in Dickenson Bay during a previous stay.

If he was just returning from trinidad what could he done to disappear? was he here in Antigua Before? Does he live here or work here?
Where did Thomas leave to go, did he say where & who he was going out with? Does he smoke or was known to hang with the wrong crowd? Whereever you are living ask if anyone has cameras to see Thomas last activity. Hope he is found alive and well.
