The Ministry of Health, Wellness, Environment and Civil Service Affairs is aware of recent allegations concerning the admission and treatment of a U.S. citizen at Clarevue Psychiatric Hospital.

The Ministry takes these allegations seriously and has initiated an internal investigation.

While cautioning against premature conclusions, we are committed to a prompt and thorough review.

This will include examining the patient’s admission, treatment, conditions of stay, and discharge, as well as the conduct of all personnel involved. Efforts are already underway to engage all parties concerned.

  3. Hmmmmmm weeks now I see past patient and workers complaining about that place. And no body came out and said anything. But US students complain and the high jumping begin. U all take notes, they don’t give a shit about locals in the mental hospital.

    Thought theoretically woukd have been asking mich outcry as when the police are implicated in wrong doings.
    So who is going to conduct the investigations?
    Is himself going to investigate himself?
    Why do we want to hold the police to a different standard than the rest of the public service?

  9. Thorough investigations need to take place at SLBMC also. Patients have taken surgeries and ended up experiencing severe post surgery traumas, yet these cases are overlooked

  17. But either somebody mad or somebody crazy or this never happened. Can any madness take place in this country like that? What was the panic attack about? I mean this is a drastic decision to keep the woman there like that. I guess they thought she was a crazy white woman

    Look at how Molwyn ah jump, skip and hop for FOREIGN with thorough investigations at Clarevue Hospital, but yet when my neighbour who now cannot walk properly and constantly out of breath by just walking to his gate after taking the AstraZeneca that Molwyn recommended; and two other of my good good friends who got cancer after taking the same said Covid-19 mRNA vaccine on the Health Minister’s advice because they NEEDED to travel abroad.

    Where’s the concerns and investigations for home grown Antiguans with these life changing debilitating cancers?

    How is the Health Minister still in his job to this day?

    Again, thanking the Lord that He led me to do my due diligence into taking note of the medical experts and whistle-blowers that were silenced during the Covid-19 pandemic

    The Lord will eventually take my life, but a Health Minister in global lockstep with others???

  19. … and BTW, did can anyone enlighten me as to the autopsy results of the woman who died suddenly and once had a high profile job with the Pan American Health Organisation (PAHO)?

    This mysterious death has all of sudden gone very quiet …
