Ministry of Agriculture Relocates Temporarily to Nugent Avenue

1

The Ministry of Agriculture Headquarters is relocating to Nugent Avenue temporarily early next year, confirmed by Agriculture Minister EP Chet Greene.

The move is prompted by the need for extensive repairs at the current offices near Country Pond, as announced by the Cabinet of Antigua and Barbuda. Simultaneously, the General Post Office staff will shift to the Sir Cuthwin Lake Center. Minister Greene expressed gratitude for the Ministry’s cooperation.

Ongoing protests by predominantly female government employees underscore the subpar working conditions.

Minister Greene advocates constructing a modernized building to improve conditions and suggests a centralized complex to streamline government operations, aiming to save taxpayers’ money.

  1. Wait! What is going on here? The retrofitted, state of the art hospital, waiting on an elevator for two years, toted as the temporary abode of the post office, is now the home of a non-existent, dying, Agricultural department?
What $405,00 for palm trees could not be utilized in some other way?.
What an incompetent, clueless government! Chet Green will destroy agriculture. The man has never done an honest days work and couldn’t cut it in Cuba.
Soon they will run out of places to run to.
