Mike Tyson Wants To Establish Cannabis Farm In Antigua

21

Former World Heavyweight Boxer Mike Tyson has told the government that he wants to expand his cannabis business to Antigua.

The Tyson Farm has an interest in establishing a Cannabis Farm in Antigua under the Cannabis Act, and to produce medical cannabis products for sale.

The government says Mr. Tyson may make a trip to Antigua in two weeks in order to solidify a Memorandum of Agreement.

He owns Tyson Holistic Holdings, which he created in 2016. It sells marijuana strains, edibles and merchandise.

  1. What happens to the native Antiguans and Barbudans? They should be the first to get this opportunity in establishing a Cannabis Farm.

    • Opportunity = Time+Preparation+Money

Is someone/something preventing the “natives” from getting first dibs? Sounds like you had talks with the government and were turned down. Did they give you a reason why?

      • I wish it were that profound s reason and not the cart before the horse way in which the decriminalization process was handled.

        • Why is everything given to people outside of Antigua…..Antiguans cannot become entrepreneurs too……hmmmmmm!!!!

    • SETTING UP BOXING GYM

My friend ‘DB,’ your real-life followers continue to follow your comments and our interaction.

If you wish to be like ‘…Mike,’ buy a ‘…Microphone.’

Remove ‘…rophone,’ and you have ‘…Mic.’

Then you can sing a song on ‘…Cannabis’ and use him as a ‘…Back-up’ singer.’
      He is everything but ‘…Duncy.’

Now, if you encourage ‘…Mike’ to ‘…Set Up a Boxing Gym,’ two possible things could happen to you,
      (i) …One left hook, and its all over; and
(ii) …If you are getting the upper-hand, tell yourself that a piece of your left ear is gone.

Seems that only someone as ‘…Dunce like a Bat’ would wish to be like Mike.’

Three cheers to my friend ‘DB.’

  2. I guess YOU HAVE TO BE AN AMERICAN CELEBRITY TO ESTABLISH A GREEN HOUSE OR ANYTHING ELES ON WEED….

FRIST IT WAS WHOOPI GOLDBERG NOW TYSON WHOSE NEXT ON THE WEED TRAIN….

I GUESS NO ANTIGUAN HERBALIST MONEY…..

THEM ALL BROKES TO MAKE DEALS WITH A VERY GREEDY PM.

  3. Once again Antigua gives opportunity to make real money to outside investors ..y can’t Antigua residents get the first opportunity to grow on scale that Antiguans benefits

  4. Shouldn’t the headline be convicted felon and registered sex offender…..

Do we really need to import criminals to set up a weed farm?

    • Is he a “registered sex offender”? Wouldn’t that stop him from travelling outside his country? And if he is a “convicted felon”, how is he eligible for a US passport? Just askin’.

      • Although it can be difficult to obtain a passport for a convicted felon, it is not impossible. Whether a convicted felon can obtain a United States passport will depend on the felony that was committed.

    • Lol. Right and he’s laughing all the way to the bank while you’re hating. I hope he can buy as much as the former convicted rapist felon 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  5. How can we get in on this (born antiguan) anyone knows the procedure? If you have land already?

  6. I certainly would welcome Mike Tyson or any other investor coming here. The Jamaicans have dropped their licencing fees so low that even looks suspicious.
I did not even think Mike Tyson knew Antigua existed. We do need the exposure, technology and investment, so, if it can happen, lets make it happen.

  7. Come in Mike…we know the parameters and we know of the benefits health wise this plant can assist.

  8. Some of you in here sound like asses. The ball is in our court and we are throwing it away with both hands.

These politicians run to catch the weed band wagon to fatten their pockets.

Elder Rastas in Antiguan have growing their weed in the hills for decades only to face retribution from greedy so-called law-abiding-citizens who beat, rob and kill innocent locals for growing a plant that was created by God and not in a Lab.

Now all of a sudden everyone want to play Lab-RATS, trying to look like they have Rastas best interest at heart.

Give the locals first preference to this Weed Industry, and then you self-centered, two-faced Politicians, Police Officers, and joining-ONDCP-for-the-wrong-reasons Officers can beg a blige.

    Antiguans FIRST!!

  9. Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) is a critical aspect to become a rich nation. Welcoming foreign investment is very important and if Mike Tyson (or anybody else) wants to invest in Antigua and Barbuda, then we should welcome them with open arms.

Having FDI does not mean locals cannot invest in the same industries too, they can – if they have the investment capital to do so. Let’s remember, if Tyson opens a facility in Antigua, it will employ Antiguan citizens.

Whether Mike Tyson decides to invest in Antigua or not, it is nice to see that Antigua is ‘on the map’ and seen as a place in which honest, legal, and unique global industries can flourish.

  10. Oh well after them local done do all them time
