Michelle King’s Bail Granted in Alleged Fraud Case Targeting Antigua Senator’s Business

2

Michelle King has been released on bail following charges of defrauding a company owned by Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party Senator Rawdon Turner.

The alleged fraud involves obtaining over $1300 in cash through false pretense.

Turner disclosed that King impersonated one of his suppliers, Nuffield Nedd, and requested cellphone top-ups and cash for mechanical work on behalf of foreign workers in Barbuda.

However, Nedd was not aware of the request and was not abroad as claimed.
