  1. That’s right, they have to work hard for those votes. I hope the public understands how valuable their vote is and realize that all this work came about as a result of Gaston Browne and the ABLP knowing that they could possibly lose the election. Let us not relent and keep their feet to the fire if we expect any real change and to become an “economic powerhouse”. Changes is needed and we can be the agents of this change.

    • Everett Christian failed “economist” is that you??? You keep on BADLY ADVISING the UPP!! If it were up to y’all, Scotiabank workers would be on the breadline. Trinidad bank would have a large chunk of our monies. Time for you 🤡 to retire from the circus!!

      • I love that you don’t have the slightest clue of who I am. Keep pulling names out of your $%#. Anyway economic prosperity is coming to Antigua whether now or ten years down the road when the ABLP is no longer in power.

        • Do you remember which government promised school Children $350.per primary and $500. Secondary schools? Do you think the Children got a penny? Even the School Children they lied too. Don’t you think that the government should ever govern Wadadli again? Plenty ahwe hab good memories of all the deceptions.

  2. The water has been improved tremendously over the last eight years. The droughts and careless use of the water resources contributed to the rationing of water in many communities. The ABLP administration is endeavoring to improve the water supply and access all across the island. Things are happening as everything cannot be done all at once. There were other pressing issues and a novel pandemic which caused a slow down of productivity. I’m pleased to see that movements are yielding progress as it relates to water supply. People, please learn to conserve and prioritize securing your own backup supply as well.

    • Dave Ray is this the first time Antigua is experiencing drought. Antigua suffers from periodic drought. What is your evidence of the careless use of water. Just stop chatting nonsense if you do not have the facts. The situation would have been much better if the inept government had manage the problem better such as putting the many storage tanks into operation.

      • But if you don’t have water to full the tanks then why you’d waste the scarce resources to fit tanks you don’t have enough to supply what is consumed per minute?
Imagine you use 15 gallons per day but only produce 9 gallons per day why would you buy a tank to store water when it’s your capacity that needs increasing to fix the issues you have. Samething here

        • Where's the GUN that killed NIGEL CHRITIAN and when will shortie be charged for forging the PM signature?? Where's the GUN that killed NIGEL CHRITIAN and when will shortie be charged for forging the PM signature??

          Rubbish reasoning.

          You plan for the future

          JUSTICE FOR NIGEL

    • Dave Ray, which world are you living in? Certainly not Antigua.

People hungry and thirsty , cant buy food and water- poor people a suffer. U NA LIB YA SO U NO NO.

AS BOLD FACE SAY, IF YOU NAR KNOW U JUST NAR KNOW.
People hungry and cant feed themself.

  3. The main issue in Antigua is maintenance. Let Labour win the election, and see how soon after we have the same problem. Labour government does not maintain anything and only spend money when they can make money. All of this is just to get re-elected.

  4. Don’t take your foot off the water pump Prime Minister, because on this day Wednesday 11th May 2022, there are only 142 days remaining for the ABLP government to complete the ISLAND WIDE implementation of the new water supply system 💧 💧💧by the 30th September this year.

THE MEMBRANES AT THE CRABBS PLANT IS A POSITIVE START, HOWEVER … WE STILL WATCHING YOU 👀 BOSS!

  5. Call the election now. PM Lovell and GG Giselle ready to take the lead. 8 long years of talk and incompetency. Time to vote in the rescue team. UPP 17-0

    • Calm down CHAKU WAKU!!! That’s your weak-ass, lame “battle cry” right before the UPP gets trounced at the polls 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  6. APUA it’s about time.

Semcorp owed $22,000,000.00 under UPP and so water supply was suppressed. Dem even mash up TANGO!!

  7. A decade-long issue is now being addressed by the competent Gaston Browne administration. Kudos to this, ‘can do’ government. No passing of the buck. Water improvement has been made since day one by paying SembCorp their arrears of over $22 million, which by the way the UPP raked up, water production was increased immediately. Sadly enough, the goal post kept changing. More investments were made in additional RO Plants and now even the distribution system is being replaced, while more RO plants are coming on stream. No other government has invested more monies into our water production. And that while we are experiencing the longest drought in forty years. People get real and give Gaston his Jacket. That is if you are honest and fair.

    • Where's the GUN that killed NIGEL CHRITIAN and when will shortie be charged for forging the PM signature?? Where's the GUN that killed NIGEL CHRITIAN and when will shortie be charged for forging the PM signature??

      Stupid fool.

So there was no water problem in Antigua for the 28 years of ABLP rule…..only during the UPP rule and then automatically the problem disappeared?

PEOPLE LIKE YOU SICK MY STOMACH.
USEFUL IDIOT SINGING FOR YOUR SUPPER

  8. The issue is the “frying pan or the fire”. Both ABLP & UPP have done horrible jobs but I see ABLP as the frying pan and I’ll stick with them.

ABLP knows that UPP candidates are weak and that they will probably be re-elected so they are taking a complacent approach but they really should be trying to cement their position and Govern properly.

Who is responsible for the RO plants being out of membranes. Mr. PM, please get on this person or persons cases. Accountability is important.

    • Where's the GUN that killed NIGEL CHRITIAN and when will shortie be charged for forging the PM signature?? Where's the GUN that killed NIGEL CHRITIAN and when will shortie be charged for forging the PM signature??

FOR ALL THE SUFFERING AND HARDSHIP THE ABLP HAS INFLICTED ON THE CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY?

PEOPLE NAR HAB MONEY FU BUY FOOD WATER NAR GAS. ABLP CAN CONTINUE TO RAPE THIS COUNTRY AND ENRICH THEMSELF GIVING AWAY YOUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN HERITAGE AND IT DOESNT BOTHER YOU.
PEOPLE JUST CANT THINK FOR THEMSELF, THEY ALLOW OTHER PEOPLE TO DO IT FOR THEM. USEFUL IDIOTS.

  9. Red is dead only election time they find money to remain in power not because they care about the citizens. More jobs with less money to pay! Most strikes ever taking place. More taxes! More corruption and coverup! Less food to put on the table.
Citizens of Antigua 🇦🇬 dont settle for the most corrupt government they will get complacent and don’t want to move .
