St. John’s City East has remained with the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party, as Melford Nicholas retained the seat in Thursday’s general election.
Nicholas defeated the United Progressive Party’s Pearl Quinn-Williams to secure another term, holding onto the closely contested constituency he previously won by just six votes.
The result reinforces the ABLP’s grip on the urban seat and contributes to the party’s overall performance in the 2026 polls.
