Melford Nicholas responds to a confident Harold Lovell; ‘See you at the polls”

The incumbent member of parliament for St. John’s City East has responded to the man he defeated in the last two elections.

Melford Nicholas says Harold Lovell was also confident in the last two elections which he lost.

This is what Lovell said last week:

My work evaluation for you over the years would be,Below Expectations. If you worked for a private enterprise. You would be put on 90 days probation. Then if you did not measure up,you would be garne a yard. Your unproductive,lazy arse,would be FIRED. The people would be doing just that in the next Election.

  5. Joanne Massiah further criticised the current UPP Political Leader, Harold Lovell, for his performance during his stint as minister of finance from 2009 and 2014.

    *The former finance minster who is now the leader of the UPP went on a borrowing spree during his tenure, and then he stop paying back the loans all together in 2014. Maybe he saw the writing on the wall that time and now trying to talk a whole heap of BS as if the people of Antigua and Barbuda are stupid enought to trust him again. Oh I forgot to mention Lovell let Sandals have their way and give them 60% of the ABST collected and also give Butch Stewart and his ganag Long Bay Beach to “build” beaches and deny the locals access to the beach.

    1. Do you have daily supply of potable fresh water coming out of your household pipes?
    2. Do you have a reliable supply of electricity?
    3. Is the road network in your community easy to navigate?
    4. Do you have reliable internet service?
    5. Is your community maintenance to your satisfaction?
    6. How easy it is to have a conversation with current representative about your community concerns?
    7. Is the Trash picked up as scheduled?
    8. Last. Are you better off today than you were 8 years ago? What about your neighbors?

    If you are happy with the development of your community under the leadership of Hon. Melford Nicholas. By all means vote him back in. If not. Time for a change. It’s your community! You have right to live with services that provide you with the comforts of a modern society. You deserve nothing but the best.

    You should not have to live without the ability to live comfortable in your home. Again ask yourselves. Am I and my neighbors in this constituency better off today than we were eighth years ago? That should guide your conscience. Not Freebs!!!!
