The Democratic National Alliance (DNA) has named Gameal Joyce as its candidate for the St Paul constituency.

Joyce, a businessman and former banker, was unveiled to the public during a town hall-type event at the Cobbs Cross Primary School tonight.

The DNA said the Falmouth resident is ready to transform the agriculture and agro-business sectors in Antigua and Barbuda if elected come 2019.

Joyce believes that the potential for the agricultural sector has not yet been realised.

Joyce currently serves a treasurer for the Antigua and Barbuda Agriculture Forum for Youth (ABAFY)

The husband and father has a background in accounting, finance, anti-money laundering and operational risk and wealth management.
