The Coast Guard Cutter Joseph Napier, in coordination with US Customs and Border Protection, successfully apprehended a drug-smuggling vessel in the Caribbean Sea.

The dedication and resolve displayed by the Coast Guard, as well as their local and US law enforcement partners, are pivotal in safeguarding Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.

The seized narcotics and four suspected smugglers are now under the prosecution of the US Department of Justice.
