In the aftermath of Mannie James’ tragic death during a high-speed chase, Antigua and Barbuda authorities have taken decisive action to ensure transparency and accountability.

A coroner’s inquest has been commissioned to independently investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident that unfolded in Grays Farm.

Eyewitness accounts suggest that law enforcement personnel shot James as he attempted to evade them on foot.

The community’s outcry has sparked serious concerns about the use of force by the police.

Superintendent Lisborn Michael assured the public that the investigation would be conducted professionally and transparently.

The inquest aims to shed light on the tragic event and provide answers to the grieving community.

  1. Yes, they throw the injured man in the back of a pickup like a dog, in fact dogs get better treatment than him.
That’s not the protocol for police officers in treating a wounded victim or even a dead person.

Pull out the hand book on police protocol and tell us if those protocols were followed in this case? Please do that for us please. Smdh.

  2. Are they going to be as astute and transparent as they were with the Nigel Christian matter? I suppose it all depends on the directives they receive.
