Anthony Faracho, 34, was stabbed to the left side of his head and left shoulder on Sunday night as he saved his sister from an abusive lover.
A pair of scissors allegedly used by the assailant to inflict the injuries was recovered at the scene in Potters while police hunt the attacker from Cashew Hill.
According to reports, Faracho warned his sister’s abusive ex to leave her alone on several occasions.
It is reported that shortly after midnight Saturday, he found the man at the house, holding on to his sister and so he went to her defence. He was stabbed after which the alleged attacker dropped the weapon and ran.
The victim was treated at the Casualty Department of Mount St. John’s Medical Centre.

Based on other news outlet, the assailant was warn on number of occasions by his family members, the victim, his sister, who is also a victim and policy auth. There is talk of a restrain order, thou not yet confirmed.
Now had Mr Faracho, done what WE all wish would have happen, wouldn’t this be a dam good case for self defense?? I for sure would be saying “one less dog off the face of the earth”. Yes I said what i said, with no apologizes!!
But instead I will sit here and hope that this low life does not make another attempt on this lady’s life. I will sit and wait to see the chargES if any is brought against this low life. I will sit and hope the next time some one comes to this lady’s defense it ends ………………………………………………..differently!
