Thirty-one-year-old Babu Jardine of Villa was gunned down in the area sometime after 9 this evening.
Jardine is the son of Vere “Fumancho” Christian, who said his son was at home at the time of the incident.
Christian was called by the police who asked him to come to the scene and identify the deceased as his son.
Police say investigation are continuing.
