Police are investigating a robbery which occurred earlier today.
According to reports, a man is now in hospital nursing a gunshot wound after being shot during the robbery.
It is further reported that two men, one of whom was armed with a gun, robbed a business establishment in the Gambles area.
The owner of the business was not harmed but another man was shot and injured.
He is said to be in a stable condition in hospital.
