Twenty-six-year-old Cordayro Joseph was sentenced to 35 years in prison for the murder of 52-year-old Cauldrick Lewis.

The victim was shot and killed as Joseph robbed Clary’s Bar in Upper Fort Road on June 19, 2011.

Joseph armed himself with a semi-automatic weapon and ordered everyone to lie on the floor after discharging the gun in the bar.

Lewis, who was a patron at the establishment, died after a bullet struck him in the forehead.

The sentence, which was handed down on Friday, will be reviewed periodically for early release after Joseph has served 20 years.

  1. That boy has a rap sheet longer than my arm. He showed no remorse just like his father. They can be cell mates … again. I’m sorry for the nearly two decades of stress his mother has endured.
