The incident occurred between November 24, 2023, and January 31, 2024, following the boat’s listing for sale on Facebook on November 13, 2023.
The buyer, who expressed interest in purchasing the boat, took it for a test run and signed a bill of sale but failed to pay, citing unsuccessful attempts to wire transfer the money.
Despite this, the buyer visited the boat owner’s home on November 26, took the keys, and left a message confirming the act.
The stolen boat is a black 19-foot Bow Rider Boat valued at $48,000.
