Man Operating Bar During Curfew Hours Fined

A man has been fined after pleading guilty to operating a bar without the requisite liquor license.

Police caught the man serving liquor to persons after a neighbour reported that they heard a commotion coming from the man’s house.

The Police seized several cases of beer and other alcoholic beverages.

The man, who operates a business in the area referred to as Bosnia, pleaded guilty to operating without the requisite liquor license.

He was fined $5,000 since it was not his first offense or six months in prison.

According to the Law, there is a series of penalties for breaching the Liquor Act, which include fines as low as $1,500 for the first offence.

  1. It’s foolish and ignorant to undertake such stupid things in times like these. He really needs some serious jail time. The law is for the lawless ones like him.

    Because it’s $5K for just breaking curfew?
