6. Time spent while on remand should never be taken into account I cases such as these. He is getting a free pass while this child has to suffer for the rest of her life. The laws need to change for stiffer sentences and hopefully it would deter others with this sick mentally.

10. Where are the victim’s male relatives is what I want to know. They should give him a near death experience because fifteen years is not nearly enough for the trauma he has caused that young lady and the innocence he has stolen.

11. I think it should be the law for accusers to see a crime victim advocate/psychologist/social worker before they are allowed to testify. This will ensure they have access to crime victim assistance and to also understand the harms the accused may suffer as a result of the accusations.

    I will not pretend that sometimes accusers are lying. It is possible, not saying this is the case here but I see the pain accused suffers from being falsely accused, arrested and imprisoned.

    Those who truly victimized children through sexual assault should answer to the law but remember those ones who the accused is victimizing. These kinds of convictions scare me to death when there is only words against words, without corroborating evidence. It scares me, testimony alone shouldn’t be sufficient.

    Again, not saying the young lady is lying.
