The man who was discovered injured at Ordnance Bay in English Harbour was reportedly holding a knife.
He informed the police that his injuries were self-inflicted.
Upon the arrival of Emergency Medical Services, he initially resisted their assistance.
Police found him in the water with a slashed throat and a stab wound to the chest, and his boat was engulfed in flames.
The National Parks Authority extends gratitude to Antigua and Barbuda Search and Rescue, the Fire Department, and ABDF Coast Guard for their swift response, successfully containing the blaze to the boat.

What???
Mercy
Clarevue?
Nope. He knows who did it and he wants his own revenge. Someone wouldn’t self harm by cutting their own throat.
Despite what anyone might think, mental health problems are common everywhere. Mental health issues, much like other health issues can be mild but can be life altering, affecting the emotional, social and psychological well-being of a person. Although symptoms of mental illness differ, depending on the seriousness of the problem, common symptoms include changes in sleeping and eating habits, social withdrawal, feelings of hopelessness, prolonged sadness and suicidal thoughts and actions much like we have witnessed here.
