  1. May his soul rest in peace, and may God comfort his family. That road has become a race track every morning people rushing to work, especially towards the airport direction. I am wondering if he was ran off the road or he turned the corner too fast. It was Thursday morning further up the road at the deeper bend in the road there were two vehicles accident about an hour apart from the first one. I live in the area and every morning I stay in my house and hear the sounds of vehicles speeding towards the direction of the airport. The old does say” if you done late for why make sense you killed off yourself trying to get to work.”

  2. This is so sad, too many accidents on our roads. I suspect this might be a young driver they are a hazard to themselves and other road users, the other day one of them was driving a truck, I had the right of way in my Suzuki Jeep he bullied his way from behind a line of parked vehicles and then start cursing me telling me if I do not realize my vehicle small so keep myself quiet because I am the one who will get crushed and that is the mentality of a lot of drivers in this place they have no sense of reasoning. I really feel sorry for them

  3. This is so unfortunate.

Another trend I’ve been observing are drivers in the northbound lane going into the southbound lane at high speeds to overtake vehicles.

The lawlessness on the roads is ridiculous

  4. I find this article both sad and contradictory! You have a photo “allegedly “ of the deceased, yet you mentioned no name is released pending notification to family!!!!
Is this what journalism had disintegrated into?
Condolences to those who are grieved by the death of ethics and sound standards of journalism!
I pray comfort to the family of the deceased. My hope is that they were duly notified before this photo was published.
    Question to the editor.
Why a picture of him with a blunt ?
Could you not have kindly requested another? Are you covertly saying something?

  5. Oh my, I was thinking the same thing.
Couldn’t you find a better picture?
A man with a splif I’m his mouth?
    Shame on you ANR..
Publish the article but wait until you get a decent picture.
    Journalism in antigua dead, dead
Even though I chastise you ANR,
I still love you I want you to do better. Ok

  6. So his identity is being withheld pending informing his family……so whose picture it is that has been posted??
    Really?
I send heartfelt condolences to the family. It is so difficult loosing a family member or a friend under these circumstances.
I ask that we refrain from pointing fingers until the facts have been ascertained.

  7. Hmmm, I wonder if that photo of the deceased was deliberately selected to send a partisan message. No denying, it does raise questions….

  8. Saying that the name is withheld for that reason and posting his picture is poor journalism. Also the family should approve a picture of someone that died in this manner.
About the spliff, if he is a Rasta and counts it his holy sacrilege then nothing is wrong with the picture.
If smoking of marijuana is so appalling, then the government should not condone and pass laws to support its use.
