A man in his thirties from Newfield has died following an alleged confrontation with his mother-in-law at a home in the community.
Preliminary reports indicate the incident occurred during an altercation inside the residence. The woman reportedly told investigators that the man—who is married to her daughter—entered the house and attempted to sexually assault her.
During the confrontation, the situation escalated and the man sustained fatal injuries. Although the incident began inside the home, he was later found in nearby bushes.
Police are continuing investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident. Further details are expected as inquiries continue.

This is where a good forensic psychologist comes in handy.. the position and directions of the wounds will tell if they were attacking wounds or defensive ones.
Word of mouth is just circumstantial evidence, they are not the full truth. But hey, I know this lazy CID department won’t dig deeper into this murder. Their track record on solving these cases is the worse in the entire Carribean.

Are the injuries laceration, puncture wounds, or bruises? Does he have any biological evidence under his finger nails to indicate struggle? In what position was his body? Does it suggest that he was fleeing or that he simply died there? Was there a blood pool? Is there splatter or droplets anywhere else? Even though the blood may be washed off, did the pice apply Luminol to check the.presence of unapparenr blood?
