Man charged for burning down St John’s businesses

Police charged a Grays Farm man with arson, following investigations into a fire which destroyed two buildings on Corn Alley and Tanner Street in October.

Gesean Grigg, aka “Mobster” of Grays Farm is accused of unlawfully and maliciously setting fire to buildings, which formerly housed Uprising Nail Salon and Gigi Plaza.

Firefighters arrived on the scene and met both buildings engulfed in flames; however, were able to extinguish the blaze to prevent the fire from spreading.

Following the incident, Grigg was arrested and taken into custody and questioned. He is expected to appear before the Court (Today) Monday.
