A man reported to the police that he was beaten by five men who also robbed him of $1500.
Police say they are investigating the matter which occurred at the G-Spot Nightclub located on Independence Drive, over the weekend.
The Liberta man said the men approached him and asked him for money.
He said they started to beat him about the body with a stone and other objects when he told them he did not have any.
The man was treated for injuries to his face.
The police wants people with information for share it with them.

I am sad to hear what had happened and the beating were not life threatening. Thank God. My mother does always said that when you’re going out to walk with $50 and taxi money (if you’re not using your personal vehicle). When the $50 done, take taxi and come home or drive home. In today’s economy, I think $100 will be enough. I hope that he has learn a lesson and stay away from these night clubs/bars. And why takes so much cash with you at these places?
